How does a race car driver get an edge, 20/10 vision after Lasik

Ken Keenan drives a 140 mph race car. When he wanted to have Lasik he turned to Dr Gregory A. Stainer knowing he has a reputation as one of the most experienced Lasik surgeons in the area. Dr Stainer’s expertise combined with the advanced technology available at Southwest Eye Care and Laser provided Ken with 20/10 vision.

What does 20/10 mean, isn’t 20/20 the best vision possible? 20/20 is the standard used to determine if vision is normal. However, a person with 20/10 vision will clearly read an object that is twice as far away as what a person with 20/20 vision can see. At 140 miles per hour things go by pretty fast.  Having the best vision possible is critical to success and safety.

Thanks Ken for trusting your eyes to the world class team at SWEC and good luck on the track!
