Emily G. Marsh, O.D. – Bakersfield, CA

As a dedicated optometrist, Dr. Emily Marsh is pleased to be part of a top-notch eye care team. Dr. Marsh joined our Bakersfield vision correction practice in 2002 after completing her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Missouri in St. Louis that same year.

DR. EMILY MARSH: Hi. I’m Dr. Emily Marsh. I have been working here in Bakersfield with Dr. Stainer since about 2002, after completing my optometry degree in Missouri at the University of Missouri in St. Louis. I provide eye care for all ages including routine vision care and contact lens fitting, as well as diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic ocular disease. I perform diabetic eye evaluations as well ocular surgery consultations. I really enjoy all the people that we work with and all of our patients. It’s just a very gratifying field to be in. In this office I feel like we have a kind of unique situation and it’s really nice and beneficial to us professionally, as well as what we can provide for the patients. We just have a mix of everything. With Dr. Stainer and all of the surgical expertise that he brings to the practice, obviously, and just the variety of optometrists that we have, and it’s such a diverse field that we have people that specialize and have interests in pretty much all areas, so that we are able to provide a comprehensive environment for pretty much any patient that walks through the door.
