BROOKE: My name is Brooke. I recently had cataract surgery on my right eye and will soon be having cataract surgery as well on my left eye. I have worn contact lenses and glasses for many years, and at some point, it felt as if there was a smudge on my contact lens that I couldn’t see through. When I took my contacts out and wore my glasses, the smudge remained, and so I had a feeling it was something like a cataract in my eye. So I came to Dr. Stainer, who I’ve seen for years and we scheduled cataract surgery and it’s been the best thing ever. I have a bionic eye now. I can see for days and I’m very much looking forward to having the other eye done.

DONNA: Hi, my name is Donna. I had LASIK a little over a year ago and it has just totally changed my life. I don’t have to wear glasses to see the TV. I can wake up in the middle of the night and read the clock and see what time it is. It’s just fabulous. It’s nice to drive without having glasses. It’s nice to go out and do sports activities and not have to worry about wearing glasses or anything like that.

ROGER: The doctor tells me I was farsighted. I couldn’t see freeway signs until I was on top of them even with glasses and that’s very important. I had the surgery and now I can see forever. It’s just really the coolest thing ever and it didn’t hurt.

ROSEMARY: The staff was very helpful. They explained every step of the procedure. They followed me through the preparation for the surgery, explained everything that was going to happen to me, followed-up the day of the surgery, after the surgery, all the follow-up visits. They were very helpful, friendly, and it went very smoothly, very little down time at all.

MR. ANTHONY FADIA: I think I asked a lot of questions 'cause, you know it’s a surgery and I know it’s not, you know, too invasive, but it is a surgery and I was worried about it. Then with my job, if I loose my vision or my vision decreases, then I’m, kind of, out of luck, so I wanted to make sure that I knew the surgery in and out.

DONNA: It was so easy to come in and have an evaluation, they talked you through everything, gave you a DVD to see exactly what was going to happen. It was just so easy and it was so smooth, and I didn’t have any questions by the time we were done and I just couldn’t wait to do it. We were able to schedule it quickly, it was great.

BROOKE: I would recommend Dr. Stainer and Southwest Eye Care because of the people who work here, because of their dedication to excellence. It’s actually, probably an aggressive pursuit of excellence. He is a very fine surgeon. He is renowned for doing cataract surgery and I felt perfectly safe in having him do this.

DONNA: I tell everybody what a great experience I had and how pleased I am with my result, and absolutely I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him anytime to anytime.
